A lightly oaked Chardonnay from Clare Valley in South Australia. A beautiful gold in colour, with aromas of ripe peach and nectarines. The palate is silky with lovely citrus and stone fruit flavours and well integrated oak which gives weight, structure and notes of vanilla and honey. The weight of the wine is perfectly balanced by the refreshing acidity which leads into a subtle, yet lasting finish. A good match for roast chicken, mushroom risottos, veal and salads with blue cheese and nuts.
