The Local Dram for Langholm! The newest whisky blend by Nick Bullard, the Muckletoon combines carefully chosen casks from across Scotland to create an exceptionally drinkable dram. Finished in a PX cask, it is rich and fruity with a lingering spicy finish.
46% abv, non-chill filtered, no added colours, blended and bottled at the Moffat Distillery in 70cl bottles.
TASTING NOTES
On the nose: Prune, quince,apple pie, cinnamon buns and bergamot with a waft of sweet honeysuckle.
On the palate: Candied angelica and orange peel with baked pears, cream and a touch of liquorice.
Finish:Medium-long and satisfying; some lingering clove and bitter orange.
Allow a few minutes in the glass for flavours to fully develop.
