Whilst this is a naturally made wine, Jean-Pierre watches it fastidiously to make sure that it doesn’t become too funky. The naturalness is expressed more in its lively and powerful aromas. On the palate this is more serious and rich with silky tannins and aromas of very ripe cherries. Clean and pure with a pleasant, slightly savoury aspect and a “croquant” finish, this is a complex and interesting wine that you’ll enjoy spending time over. Very versatile, working well with red meats, roast chicken or a good cheese board.
