The light weathered sandstone soils + a lot of silt and gravel help create this brilliant and complex wine. Fermented naturally in large neutral oak barrels which were made from the local forest; this wine is a unique and true reflection of terroir. Golden in the glass from some extended skin contact it is weighty and rounded but with a clean streak of acidity. Bruised apples, caramalised pineapple, savoury and marmalade. Outstanding. Sauvignon Blanc but not as you know it.
